How long should you bleed after sex ?
I lost my virginity about two weeks ago, and I understand bleeding after sex for the first time is normal from breaking the hymen. I was getting off of my period when it happened, I maybe had 1-2 more days of it. I'm still bleeding now, it's like having a light period, and it's been over a week. I do believe I've irritated it by continuing to have sex while I was semi bleeding, and I used tampons. Also, I just started up birth control about three weeks ago, and I got told that could contribute to the problem. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if I should go to a gyno soon or see if it stops in a few days without irritation ? Thanks a lot if you can help !
